I really need to start making more blog posts on here soon (even though I’m probably going to be the only one reading this 10–15 years from now thinking, wow, I haven’t changed much at all). I mainly want to do this to give a life update post-internship and just type and use my MacBook more since I haven’t really been using it much and have to get my money’s worth on it.

But yeah, school is starting in a month and I’d say this summer has been a blast—not only growing career-wise but also learning a lot about myself and definitely growing a lot personally. If I were to rate this summer, I’d give it a solid 8/10. Got to spend a lot of time with Cindy and the boys.

But reality is slowly starting to creep in, and I do need a full-time job soon. So I gotta start applying—which is why I’m working on my website again today and my resume. I heard from data that Google SWE applications should be opening soon, which is something I need to get on top of ASAP.

I have definitely grown a lot this past year. Back then I had zero projects, zero motivation to do anything—but I always kept my head up, and now here I am, ready to take on the real world hopefully. Still a lot more to learn and room to grow, but I’m willing to take on any challenge that comes my way.

ALSO, I made a new TikTok account for a new series I’m making called “Road to FAANG” where it’s basically me talking about what I did day to day in my SWE life and how that’ll help me get a job soon.
